A Trojan horse is full of as much trickery as the mythological Trojan horse it was named after. The Trojan horse, at first glance, will appear to be useful software but will actually do damage once installed on your computer. Those on the receiving end of a Trojan horse are usually tricked into opening them because they appear to be receiving legitimate software or files from a legitimate source. Trojan Horse which once inside the PC has been designed to attack and destroy the system.
Computer worms:
A computer worm is a self-replicating computer program, similar to a computer virus. A virus attaches itself to, and becomes part of, another executable program. However, a worm is self- contained and does not need to be part of another program to propagate itself. It is often designed to exploit the file transmission capabilities found on many computers. Today, viruses are somewhat less common than network-borne worms, due to the popularity of the Internet.
